Federal Supplemental Unemployment Benefits Extended to September 6

Legislation passed by Congress, and soon to be enacted into law after President Biden signs such, will extend federal supplemental unemployment benefits at their current level of $300 per week through September 6, 2021. Additionally, the first $10,200 of federal supplemental unemployment benefits will be non-taxable for households with incomes under $150,000.SESCO Management Consultants will continue to monitor and report on developments with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic and will post updates in the firm’s COVID-19 Resource Center as additional information becomes available.
