OSHA to Announce COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard Rulemaking
Per Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, OSHA is expected to announce their rule very soon. This rule will likely require all employers with 100+ employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work. We are hearing that the rule will require unvaccinated workers to pay for their own COVID testing, however employers will be required to absorb testing and face mask costs in cases where a worker qualifies for an exemption to vaccination under federal law. More to come on this soon.
