No ASA In-Person Legislative Fly-In for 2022

After much deliberation with the ASA Board and the Co-Chairs of the Government Relations Committee, ASA has decided NOT to proceed with the 2022 in-person Legislative Fly-In scheduled for June 14-16, 2022.  This decision was not made lightly, and was based upon the information received from the House and Senate Sergeant of Arms Office in consultation with the Office of the Attending Physician. The discussion took into account both concerns related to COVID-19 safety and post-January 6th security considerations.

The U.S. Capitol, along with the U.S. Congress, is not currently and will not be entertaining in-person legislative fly-in meeting requests in the foreseeable future, especially during the first half of 2022.  To that end, ASA will be having discussions in early 2022 to discuss the possibility of a virtual 2022 legislative fly-in.  More details to follow.
