President-Elect Trump’s Cabinet Nominations and Appointments

I will continue to update cabinet nominations and other appointments as they are announced. The nominations and appointments, to date, are as follows:

  • Secretary of Commerce: Howard Lutnick, the chair and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald and is also currently serving as co-chair of the Trump transition.
  • Secretary of Defense: Pete Hegseth, a Fox News personality and former national guardsman.
  • Secretary Department of Energy: Chris Wright, CEO of Liberty Energy, a Denver oilfield firm.
  • Secretary Department of Health and Human Services: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of Robert F. Kennedy
  • Secretary Homeland Security: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem
  • Secretary of State: Florida Senator Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)
  • Secretary of Transportation: Sean Duffy former member of Congress (R-WI), former sports commentator, and reality TV personality.
  • Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs: Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA)
  • Secretary of the Interior: North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum
  • Director Central Intelligence Agency:  Former Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX)
  • Director of National Intelligence: Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Army reserve officer and Army National Guardsman.
  • Attorney General: Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL)
  • Deputy Attorney General: Todd Blanche
  • Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General: Emil Bove
  • Solicitor General: John Sauer
  • Administrator Environmental Protection Agency: Former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY)
  • Chairman, Federal Communications Commission: Brendan Carr, the current top Republican on the FCC.
  • United Nations Ambassador: Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY)
  • Ambassador to Israel: Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee
